Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Carroll County pairs individuals aged 50 and older making change in communities across Carroll County New Hampshire. Our volunteers who serve in our RSVP program choose how, where, and when they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week. OUR HISTORY
Established in 1971, Carroll County Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is the largest volunteer network of people in Carroll County age 55 and over. Volunteers who serve in our RSVP programs bring a lifetime of talent, experience, skills, and hobbies to community projects, organizations, and agencies needing talented volunteers. All volunteers choose how, where, and when they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 20-30 hours per week. RSVP was created to continue the work of the Older Americans Act, a federal law that promotes the well-being of Americans 60 years old and above through services and programs designed to meet the specific needs of older citizens. This program is available to all, without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity or expression, political affiliation, marital or paternal status, genetic information, and military service.

The mission of the Carroll County Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is to help address community needs by recruiting volunteers 55 or older without bias or preference based on differences to lend their time and expertise in community service to diverse nonprofit agencies and proprietary nursing homes, and in so doing to provide them with meaningful and ongoing volunteer opportunities.
Carroll County RSVP strives to be the leading source for older volunteers, and to continue to improve the lives and communities of Carroll County, New Hampshire. RSVP commits to promoting volunteer service as a way of life, while also empowering and respecting all the individuals that make our organization successful. RVSP continues to develop partnerships that benefit the communities that we serve and maximize our ability to accomplish our mission.
