This program was set in place by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department to assist senior citizens of the community, who live alone, to continue living an independent lifestyle through check-ins by local law enforcement. Listed below are a few examples.

Volunteers to Run Errands for Quarantined Individuals
RSVP has created a network of twenty-one (21) “shopping angels” to help the elderly or quarantined individuals get groceries during the COVID-19 pandemic. The RSVP staff will act as the conduit to connect the “angels” with the clients. Please call the RSVP office for more information or download the list above that is organized by town.

Interlakes Community CaregiversThey provide assistance to people of all ages residing in Center Harbor, Meredith, Moultonborough, and Sandwich at no charge, as Community Caregivers is supported through donations and volunteerism. Services include; Friendly visits, local transportation, running errands, etc.

Caregivers of Wolfeboro AreaLocally run program of volunteers that are willing to transport those that are elderly or disabled in the Wolfeboro area. Transports are non-emergency medical, as well as running errands locally.
