The Material Girls are a group of dedicated volunteers who get together monthly to make quilts for charity. The group was founded by Gail McClure in 2000, who owned a quilt shop in Meadville, PA. To date they have made over 1,500 quilts and raised more than $40K for RSVP through the sale of raffle tickets. For over 20 years RSVP volunteers and staff have been seen at various craft fairs and events across Mount Washington Valley selling chances for a beautifully crafted quilt.
This year, the girls have outdone themselves with another king-sized, log cabin styled quilt. Its many colors means that it is the perfect statement piece for any home, guest room, or vacation getaway, and will keep you warm through the cold New England winters. Take a look at the pictures and take a chance on this beautiful quilt and support a great cause! |
