RSVP Volunteers 55+
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Carroll County (RSVP) offers adults age 55-plus an opportunity to share their time and talents on a regular basis in a variety of settings throughout their communities. RSVP provides volunteer opportunities based on community need and encourages volunteerism in areas where there will be an impact on the community. Programs provide social engagement, interaction, entertainment, education, information, and resources to individuals and other nonprofit organizations in the community.
RSVP volunteers are active in senior centers, daycare centers, libraries, Meals-on Wheels programs, hospitals, food pantries, chamber of commerce information booths, environmental agencies and the RSVP medical transportation program to name a few. RSVP volunteers choose how, where and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week.
